Frequently Asked Questions About High Performance Leadership Coaching
For Founders, Executives, and Athletes
Do I need coaching vs. counseling or therapy?
Coaching focuses on personal and professional growth, helping you achieve specific goals and unlock your potential. It’s ideal if you’re looking to improve your performance, develop new skills, or make significant life changes. Counseling or therapy, on the other hand, addresses emotional and psychological issues, often exploring past experiences to heal and improve mental health. If you’re unsure, consider your primary needs: if you’re dealing with emotional distress or mental health concerns, therapy might be more appropriate. For goal-setting and personal development, coaching is a great fit.
What issues or roadblocks can coaching help me with?
Coaching can help you with a variety of issues, including redesigning workload demands, finding your personal leadership style, navigating difficult conversations, designing customised processes, improving communication, reducing stress and anxieties, and integrating mindfulness and well-being into your daily life.
Coaching is just the vehicle to say the things that you have on your mind out loud, allowing you to reflect and understand what’s important to you. As your coach, I’m here to stay in active listening mode, ask you powerful questions, and help you strategize on the new path forward.
Can I talk to you before starting a coaching membership?
Absolutely!
I offer a free 20-minute Intake Session to discuss your needs, answer any questions, and determine if we’re a good fit. This conversation helps you understand the coaching process and decide if it aligns with your goals. You won’t be able to book coaching until we speak by video. Coaching is a very personal thing, and we both have to do a vibe check before we move forward. I also have to make sure I have space on my roster, as at any given time, I have about 30 clients on the go.
Feel free to reach out and schedule your Intake Session. I’m looking forward to connecting with you and exploring how we can work together to achieve your goals!
How do Coaching Memberships work?
Coaching memberships are designed to provide ongoing support and development through a structured and consistent framework. Here’s how they work:
- Monthly Memberships:
- Coaching is available through monthly memberships, allowing you to choose the frequency that best suits your needs—whether it’s 1-2 sessions per month or weekly sessions.
- Customised Plans:
- Memberships can be customised to fit your specific goals and requirements. This ensures that the coaching you receive is tailored to your unique circumstances and objectives.
- Session Usage:
- Sessions must be used within each billing cycle (one month). This encourages regular engagement and consistent progress.
- Commitment:
- A minimum of six sessions is required for all memberships. This commitment helps establish a solid foundation for achieving meaningful and lasting results.
- Consistent Scheduling:
- Regularly scheduled sessions are essential for the best outcomes. Consistent interaction with your coach ensures you stay on track and continuously move toward your goals.
- Duration:
- Coaching sessions are 50 minutes. The average client’s journey typically spans from 8 months to over 2 years, depending on individual goals and progress.
- Additional Support:
- Memberships include access to exclusive, hand-picked resources and support through email when needed.
- Process:
- To start, you’ll schedule a live 1-1 Intake Session. After this initial meeting, you’ll receive a link to pay for your chosen coaching membership. Once payment is made, you’ll get a confirmation email with a unique code and URL to book your online coaching sessions.
By offering a structured yet flexible approach, coaching memberships ensure that you receive continuous, tailored support to achieve your personal and professional goals.

How do I know coaching is working?
Can my company hire you as our coach?
Absolutely!
I offer corporate coaching services tailored to the needs of your organisation. Whether it’s leadership development, team building, or enhancing overall performance, I work with companies to create customized coaching programs that drive results and foster a positive work environment.
I have extensive experience working with hundreds of employees across the globe, coaching individuals from various cross-departmental teams. My expertise in this field stems from my training at a university executive coaching graduate program, and I have been successfully operating in this capacity since 2017.
Some of the companies I have coached include Peloton, Fullscript, B Corp. As one of their external coaches, I have helped enhance leadership skills, improve team dynamics, and drive overall company performance.
If you’d like to discuss how I can support your team as an external or internal coach, please book a time on my calendar here.
What type of clients do you work with?
I work with a diverse range of clients, including entrepreneurs, creatives, professionals, small business owners, executives, and corporate teams. My coaching is tailored to help you achieve personal and professional excellence, whether you’re looking to grow your venture, enhance your craft, advance your career, or improve team dynamics.
I’ve been a certified coach for seven years, working with hundreds of individuals. Prior to that, I spent over fifteen years coaching and consulting primarily in the entrepreneurial and startup space, with varying businesses such as restaurants, retail, and small business establishments in both brick-and-mortar and online settings. I have been an entrepreneur my entire life; this mindset has come from growing up with serial small business owners as parent! This extensive experience allows me to bring a wealth of knowledge and practical insights to our coaching sessions, ensuring you receive the most effective support tailored to your unique needs.
How do group coaching programs work?
Group coaching involves a small group of individuals working together with a coach. Sessions typically include collaborative discussions, shared learning experiences, and mutual support among group members. It’s a cost-effective way to receive coaching while benefiting from diverse perspectives and collective insights.
I have been running group coaching programs for corporate teams since 2017. Starting in late summer 2024, I will be expanding this offering to include new group coaching experiences for individuals who are not part of the same company.
What's the difference between 1-1 coaching and group coaching?
1-1 coaching provides personalized attention, tailored strategies, and direct feedback, focusing solely on your individual goals and challenges. It’s an intimate setting where the attention is fully on you. The 1-1 coaching format requires a highly refined skill set from the coach. With over 2000 hours of 1-1 coaching experience, I bring a deep level of detail and active listening to each session.
Group coaching, while still valuable, offers a shared learning experience with peer support and collaborative problem-solving. It’s ideal for those who benefit from a community setting and learning from others’ experiences. Being a part of group coaching myself, I can see it’s a beautiful process with many unrealised benefits that go beyond what is happening in real time.
